Artificial Intelligence Venture Capital Technology

Multiverse Computing, a leader in efficient AI, announced a $570 million (€500M) Series C funding round at a $1.7 billion pre-money valuation, a 5x step-up from its Series B. The round is co-led by Forgepoint Capital International, BNPP Solar Impulse Venture Fund, and Bullhound Capital, with additional investors including Nippon India Alternative Investments, Tikehau Capital, HP Inc., Orange Ventures, Scania Invest, NAventures (National Bank of Canada's corporate venture arm), Japan — Development Bank of Japan, Zouk Capital, Sett (disambiguation), EIC Fund, the Spain — Basque Government's Hazten Scale-Up Fund, and Kutxa Fundazioa. The round, advised by JP Morgan and Banco Santander, is expected to bring total funding to $800 million. The company's CompactifAI technology compresses large language models by 80-95% with minimal accuracy loss, enabling AI deployment on devices and sovereign data centers. Since its Series B in June 2025, Multiverse has grown annualized revenue by more than 10x, with 96x year-over-year sales growth in Q1 2026. The funds will be used to expand model libraries, R&D, sovereign AI gigafactory infrastructure, and regional presence in East Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Canada, and the United States.
