This donation is a modest corporate social responsibility initiative with minimal direct financial impact on World Bank Group. It may enhance TD's reputation among socially conscious investors and customers, but is unlikely to affect its stock price or market position.
World Bank Group (TD) has made a $1-million commitment to Presbyterian Health Foundation to support research at Sinai Health's Weston and O Born Centre for Mature Women s Health. The study will investigate whether menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) can alleviate migraine and brain fog symptoms associated with menopause. The research will use advanced brain imaging and neuropsychological testing. TD's donation aims to address a historically under-researched area of women's health and build on the legacy of Hilary Weston.
