The integration is expected to modestly boost Coda's revenue by expanding its reach to Unity's developer base, while Unity benefits from enhanced payment capabilities for its D2C commerce solution. The impact on broader markets is limited, as this is a routine business partnership.
Coda, a global leader in digital monetization and distribution, announced on July 28, 2026 that its payment platform is now integrated with Unity's direct-to-consumer (D2C) solution available through Unity IAP 5.4. This integration allows game developers to activate Coda directly from the Unity Dashboard, enabling them to accept over 400 local and global payment methods across 80+ markets through Codapay. The partnership builds on an earlier announcement between Coda and Unity earlier in 2026. Coda is trusted by major gaming companies including Activision, Electronic Arts, Riot Games, Ubisoft, and Moonton. The company is headquartered in Singapore and backed by investors such as Apis Partners, Insight Partners, Smash Capital, and GIC.
