Viet Duc Friendship Hospital in Vietnam — Hanoi performed Vietnam's first successful penis transplant from a brain-dead donor on a 43-year-old male patient who had undergone a partial penectomy four years earlier. The surgery, led by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quang, involved reconstructing anatomical structures and microsurgical anastomosis. The patient is recovering well with no early complications.
