The milestone signals growing demand for tokenized securities and could boost Binance's market position. It may also increase competition for traditional brokerages by attracting crypto-native investors to equities.
Binance announced that its tokenized securities offering, bStocks, has surpassed $500 million in assets under management (AUM) seven weeks after launch on June 11, 2026. The product expanded from five to over 46 listings, providing 24/7 access to tokenized securities and free instant conversion between bStocks and underlying stocks. Data shows 41.5% of bStocks users began their traditional finance investment journey through tokenized securities, and Gen Z accounts for 44% of trading activity. After U.S. market hours, bStocks account for 58% of equity-linked trading volume on Binance, with $2 billion in weekend trading volume. Recent additions include Apple, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, PayPal, Dell Technologies, and the VanEck Semiconductor ETF.
