The acquisition highlights continued private equity interest in SaaS platforms serving specialized industries. Vista Equity Partners gains a scaled software provider with recurring revenue, while EQT realizes returns from its value creation strategy.
EQT Private Capital Asia Mid-Market Opportunities Fund I has agreed to sell its stake in Quantios, a leading provider of SaaS solutions to the global trust and corporate services industry, to Vista Equity Partners. The transaction is expected to close in Q3 2026. EQT initially partnered with the founders of Malaysia-based ViewPoint in 2023, later combining ViewPoint with TrustQuay (backed by HG) to create Quantios. Under EQT's ownership, Quantios launched Quantios Core, acquired Klea, and expanded its AI capabilities, growing to serve nearly 700 organizations across over 100 jurisdictions. The sale marks a successful exit for EQT's Asia mid-market strategy.
