The Nigeria, through Minister of State for Industry John Owan Enoh, led a delegation to tour the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Dangote Petrochemicals complex, and Dangote Fertiliser Limited in Lagos. Enoh described the refinery as a cornerstone of Nigeria's ambition to build a $1 trillion economy and pledged deeper collaboration with the private sector. Aliko Dangote urged the government to prioritize industrialization, noting that Dangote Industries recently raised an unsecured bond at rates below Nigeria's sovereign benchmark. Separately, Dangote Cement reported a 62.3% increase in exports and a 22.7% rise in profit after tax to N638.5 billion in H1 2026.
