HFCL secures $46M fiber order

HFCL Limited announced on July 30, 2026 that it has secured an export order worth approximately USD 46.13 million (around INR 441.53 crore) for the supply of optical fibre cables. The order was placed by a renowned international customer through HFCL's overseas wholly-owned subsidiary and is scheduled for execution by January 2027. This follows a previous export order of INR 495.8 crore from an international data centre company earlier in July. HFCL is also expanding its manufacturing capacity: optical fibre cable capacity to 45 million fibre-route kilometres (rkm) per year from 39 million rkm, and optical fibre capacity to 40 million rkm per year from 30 million rkm. The company's OFC business recorded its highest-ever order book of INR 13,483 crore in the last fiscal. HFCL reported strong Q1FY27 results with revenue of INR 1,914.98 crore (up 119.85% YoY) and PAT of INR 245.64 crore versus a net loss of INR 29.3 crore in Q1FY26. Export revenue surged to INR 1,063.30 crore from INR 209.70 crore YoY. The company expects FY27 revenue to grow by 40%.
