Procore Technologies, a leading construction management software provider, announced a definitive agreement to acquire DroneDeploy, a robotics and visual intelligence platform for the built world, for approximately $845 million in cash. DroneDeploy's technology, used on over 3 million jobsites across more than 180 countries, provides aerial and ground reality capture through drones, robots, and cameras. The acquisition aims to integrate DroneDeploy's visual intelligence with Procore's AI strategy, enabling automated jobsite observations and actions. The combined datasets include Procore's record of construction decision-making and DroneDeploy's visual record of physical builds.
