Dangote Cement Plc released its unaudited financial results for the first half of 2026, showing strong growth across key metrics. Group revenue rose 21.4% to N2.514 trillion, profit after tax increased 22.7% to N638.5 billion, and earnings per share advanced 24.3% to N38.22. The company also reported a 62.3% surge in cement and clinker exports from Nigeria to 1.1 million tonnes, with 20 clinker shipments dispatched to Ghana, Cameroon, and Ivory Coast. Operational efficiency improved, with Nigeria EBITDA margin reaching 60.1%. The company commissioned a mobile refuelling unit at Okpella and added 300 CNG trucks in Tanzania. Construction of the new 6Mta Itori plant is at an advanced stage, expected to complete by end of 2026. CEO Arvind Pathak attributed the performance to higher sales volumes, disciplined execution, and sustained demand.
