The record volume signals strong demand for trading platforms amid volatile markets, potentially boosting Marketside' revenue and market share. Competitors may face pressure to innovate, while increased trading in gold and silver could reflect broader safe-haven demand.
Marketside reported a record-high trading volume of $8 trillion for the first half of 2026, a 212% year-over-year increase. The company attributed the growth to market volatility, currency swings, and geopolitical uncertainty. Active users grew 70% compared to the second half of 2025, with 350,000 new traders opening their first trade. The platform added 39 new US stocks and launched ClubElite, a loyalty program for Introducing Broker partners. Trading activity was concentrated in gold, silver, EUR/USD, USD/JPY, NAS100, and DJ30. Marketside also received 26 industry awards, including Best Gold Trading Platform 2026. Looking ahead, the company plans to launch new products, extend trading hours, and host the Gold Cup 2026 trading competition.
