The funding signals growing investor confidence in AI-era endpoint security, potentially boosting the cybersecurity sector. It may also increase competition for traditional EDR providers like Palo Alto Networks, while validating the market for AI-native security solutions.
Bloom Security, a Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity startup, emerged from stealth on July 30, 2026, announcing a $20 million seed funding round. The round was led by Glilot Capital Partners and Eleven International Holdings, with participation from Okta — Okta Ventures and Runtime Ventures, along with angel investors including founders of Securiti, Palo Alto Networks — Demisto, Snyk, and Talon Cyber Security. The company focuses on securing the 'AI-native endpoint,' addressing risks from AI agents, browser extensions, MCP servers, and code packages that traditional EDR tools were not designed to handle. Bloom Security's platform provides contextual visibility, risk assessment, and enforcement across all endpoint software. The company reports it is already deployed at dozens of large enterprises in the United States and Europe. The founding team, including CEO Itay Keren, CPO Ofir Balassiano, and CTO Itay Frishman, previously worked at Palo Alto Networks, Securiti, and Palo Alto Networks — Demisto. The company employs 30 people, many of whom previously worked at Securiti. The funding will support product development and enterprise adoption.
