The launch marks Digital Green's entry into the European ride-hailing market, potentially increasing competition in Nasdaq Copenhagen's transport sector. It may positively impact VinFast's brand visibility and sales in Europe, while having a modest effect on the overall market.
On 30 July 2026, Digital Green, a Vietnamese electric mobility company, officially launched its fully electric taxi service in Nasdaq Copenhagen, Denmark, marking its first entry into the European market. The launch ceremony was attended by Do Quang Thai, First Secretary of the Embassy of Vietnam in Denmark, along with representatives from Danish organizations including 3F, Dansk Erhverv, DPT, and Carnegie Investment Bank. Digital Green operates a fully electric fleet of VinFast VF 6 and VF 8 vehicles in Denmark, directly owning and managing its fleet and drivers to ensure consistent service quality. The company offers a 25% discount voucher for new customers during the Grand Launch period from July 30 to September 30, 2026. Digital Green, founded in Vietnam in 2023, already operates in Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, and Kazakhstan. The expansion reflects its long-term international growth strategy, focusing on building local operations and earning trust through reliable service.
