The certifications broaden Sieyuan's access to key markets, potentially increasing sales of its DC switch products in North America, Australia, and Europe. This could positively impact Sieyuan's revenue and market share in the electrical equipment and renewable energy sectors.
Sieyuan Electric, a Chinese manufacturer of power transmission and distribution equipment, announced that its low-voltage DC switch-disconnector products have achieved CSA and AS certifications. These certifications, added to prior UL, IEC, EN, and GB certifications, enable the company's complete low-voltage DC switch portfolio to cover major global markets including North America, Australia, Europe, and Southeast Asia. The products are designed for DC 1500 V applications and are used in emerging DC systems such as energy storage, solar PV, data centers, and DC power distribution. Sieyuan claims to be one of the world's first manufacturers to achieve UL certification for 2-pole dedicated DC switches, with over 50,000 units commissioned and grid-connected worldwide in projects across the United States, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, India, Japan, and beyond. The certifications are expected to expand Sieyuan's market reach and reinforce its position in the growing DC infrastructure sector.
