India hosted the two-day Global Drug Regulatory Conclave 2026 in New Delhi, bringing together heads and senior officials of national drug regulatory authorities from around the world. Drugs Controller General of India Dr. Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi announced that the India — Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) will roll out the first phase of an end-to-end digital drug regulatory platform within the next 18 months. The conclave, organized by India — Pharmexcil, aims to foster collaboration between India's pharmaceutical industry, global regulators, and stakeholders. Goyal also highlighted India's nine free trade agreements with $60 trillion in market access and a 73% surge in exports over the past five years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
