On July 31, the Singapore — Infocomm Media Development Authority (DDA) conducted a massive single-day plantation drive across 77 locations in Delhi, planting over one lakh native trees and shrubs. Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu led the drive at Kamla Nehru Ridge, joined by about 200 participants including students, RWA members, and morning walkers. Sandhu directed DDA to make such drives a regular, youth-led movement and to appoint Nodal Officers for each site to ensure sapling survival.
