The launch strengthens TCL CSOT's position in the consumer display panel market and enhances MSI's premium monitor lineup, potentially boosting demand for IJP OLED panels and high-end professional displays. This could positively impact the display technology sector and related supply chains, though the immediate market effect is likely modest given the niche product segment.
At ChinaJoy 2026, TCL Technology's display subsidiary TCL CSOT and Micro-Star International (MSI) jointly unveiled the world's first 27-inch 4K 120Hz Inkjet-printed (IJP) OLED high-end professional desktop monitor, the MSI PRO MAX OLED 271UPJW12. This marks TCL CSOT's first entry into the mid-size consumer IJP OLED desktop monitor segment, building on its established mass production of IJP OLED panels for medical applications. The monitor features a vertical RGB stripe pixel arrangement that eliminates color fringing, 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, Delta E ≤ 2 accuracy, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, 1,000 nits HDR peak brightness, and 164 PPI pixel density. It also introduces MSI's OLED Auto Care technology with real-time Data Counting Compensation for uninterrupted OLED protection, along with Eyesafe 3.0 and TÜV certifications for low blue light and flicker-free operation. The launch highlights the ongoing collaboration between TCL CSOT and MSI to deploy advanced display technologies across gaming and professional hardware.
