The launch strengthens Lumissil's position in the automotive LED driver market, potentially increasing its competitiveness against rivals. It may also benefit automotive manufacturers by enabling more advanced lighting features, though the direct market impact is limited given the niche product segment.
Bell Microsystems Limited announced the IS32FL3761, a 33x12 dot-matrix LED driver for automotive intelligent signaling displays (ISDs). The device supports up to 396 individually addressable LEDs or a 132-pixel RGB array, with 8-bit current control, high-resolution PWM dimming, de-ghosting, and open/short detection. It is AEC-Q100 qualified and available in mass production. The product targets automotive interior and exterior lighting applications, enabling denser and more efficient signaling surfaces.
