Island launches Enterprise Vibe Publishing

Island, the enterprise agentic control plane, announced Island Enterprise Vibe Publishing on August 3, 2026. The new offering enables organizations to securely publish and share internal applications built with vibe coding tools such as Claude Code, Loveable, and Cursor. It provides a centralized app library, built-in permissions, and automatically attaches enterprise controls like secure access, identity, device posture, data protection, and audit trails. This addresses the shadow AI problem where employees build apps that may expose sensitive data or contain security vulnerabilities. Gartner predicts that by 2028, 40% of new enterprise production software will be created using vibe coding techniques. Island's solution aims to balance speed and governance, allowing employees to build and share apps while maintaining enterprise security and compliance. The company also uses the platform internally for its AI Usage Dashboard.
