Aquatech International, a Pennsylvania-based global provider of water and process technology solutions, announced on August 3, 2026, the acquisition of UAE-headquartered Metito Chemical Solutions (Metichem). The acquired company will operate as Metichem, an Aquatech International company, within Aquatech International's global services division. The acquisition combines Aquatech International's global project experience with Metichem's regional expertise in specialty chemicals and operations & maintenance services across the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia. The combined portfolio spans treatment technologies, specialty chemicals, O&M services, and digital solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal follows Aquatech International's recent acquisition of Singapore-based Century Water, further expanding its presence in Asia and the Middle East. More than 300 employees across three continents celebrated the close on July 30, during Aquatech International's 45th anniversary year. Existing contracts and service agreements remain unchanged.
