The contract win is expected to boost Larsen & Toubro's order book and revenue visibility, positively impacting its stock and market sentiment. It also strengthens L&T's position in the Middle East offshore EPCIC market, benefiting its engineering and construction segment.
Larsen & Toubro's offshore hydrocarbon arm, Larsen & Toubro — L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore), has secured an 'ultra-mega' order worth over Rs 15,000 crore from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company — ADNOC Offshore for a major project in the Middle East. The project will be executed through a consortium led by LTEH Offshore, which will handle engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) of multiple offshore facilities, along with upgrades to existing infrastructure. A significant portion of the fabrication work will be undertaken at L&T's fabrication yards. The award underscores L&T's four-decade track record in offshore projects and its commitment to supporting the UAE's energy ambitions. S N Subrahmanyan, Chairman & Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro, commented on the trust placed in L&T's engineering excellence and execution capabilities.
