The reaffirmation of the $10 billion trade target and progress on the Free Trade Agreement signal improved bilateral economic relations, potentially boosting trade flows and investment between Pakistan and Iran. Enhanced connectivity through Pakistan — Karachi and Pakistan — Gwadar ports could benefit logistics and manufacturing sectors in both countries, though the target remains ambitious relative to current trade volumes.
