Piramal Enterprises — Piramal Pharma Solutions (PPS), a CDMO and part of Piramal Group, launched a new spray drying suite at its dedicated peptide development and manufacturing facility in Turbhe, India. The suite is a closed-loop system with Band 5 containment, inert gas supply, and ISO Class 8 cleanliness, enabling safe handling of potent compounds and organic solvents. It supports small-volume, high-potency batches with a feed rate of up to 1 liter per hour and can process solutions with up to 30% water content, making it valuable for biomolecules and large peptides. This expansion addresses complex formulation challenges for peptides and other challenging molecules, supporting growing demand.
