The event is expected to boost business opportunities and partnerships in Thailand's construction and mining sectors, potentially driving investment in sustainable technologies. It may positively influence sentiment for participating companies and highlight Thailand's commitment to net zero, though direct market impact is limited as it is a trade exhibition.
BCT Expo 2026, the Building Construction Technology Expo, is scheduled to take place from 16-18 September 2026 at Hall 7, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. The 6th edition of this Southeast Asian exhibition and conference for the building, construction, and mining industries will be held under the theme 'Empowering Net Zero in Construction & Mining'. The event will feature more than 150 brands from Thailand and across Southeast Asia, showcasing construction machinery, mining equipment, building materials, construction technology, AI, robotics, smart construction, and environmental solutions. A key highlight is the first strategic partnership with Thailand's New South Wales — Department of Primary Industries (New South Wales) (DPIM), which will present the DPIM Circular Economy Pavilion. The Built Environment & Construction Lighting Pavilion will debut with lighting technologies from China — Zhejiang, China. Over 30 free conference and workshop sessions will be led by organizations including PTT Public Company Limited, SCG Building & Living Care Consulting, Ritta, SCB EIC, and the Thailand — Council of Engineers Thailand. The event is expected to attract over 4,000 industry professionals and will feature a Business Matching Program. The exhibition aligns with Thailand's accelerated Net Zero target of 2050 and the growing focus on low-carbon construction and mining practices.
