Emirates SkyCargo launches Taipei-Hyderabad-Dubai freighter

Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport welcomed the commencement of The Emirates Group — Emirates SkyCargo's dedicated Boeing Freighter service connecting Taipei, Hyderabad, and Dubai. The new service, with a payload capacity exceeding 100 tonnes, will significantly boost cargo movement along the strategic Taipei-Hyderabad-Dubai corridor. It is expected to support the seamless movement of high-value and time-sensitive shipments, including pharmaceuticals, life sciences products, electronics, semiconductors, perishables, servers, and express cargo. The corridor provides direct access between Taipei's electronics and semiconductor ecosystem and Hyderabad's life sciences, pharmaceutical, and emerging technology sectors, while Dubai enables seamless onward connectivity to over 145 destinations worldwide. Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport CEO Kadhir Kadhiravan highlighted the route's role in reinforcing Hyderabad's position as a preferred gateway for technology-driven supply chains. Sanjiv Edward, CEO of GMR Aero Cargo & Logistics, noted that the addition strengthens a strategic trade corridor and enhances the value proposition of the airport's cargo ecosystem. The new service complements Hyderabad Airport's existing international cargo network, which includes freighter operations by Lufthansa — Lufthansa Cargo, Turkish Airlines — Turkish Cargo, Qatar Cargo, and Ethiopian Cargo.
