Petrobras awards Intermoor mooring services contract

Intermoor, Actaeon (disambiguation)'s moorings and anchors business line, has been awarded a three-year contract by Petrobras to provide inspection, preservation, maintenance, and operational readiness services for subsea interconnection, mooring, and anchoring equipment supporting offshore operations in Brazil. This is the third contract Intermoor has received from Petrobras in less than a year. The scope includes visual and dimensional inspections, non-destructive testing, cleaning, surface treatment, painting, maintenance, repair, replacement, and reconditioning of components such as chains, steel wire ropes, anchors, connectors, load collars, anode collars, and adapters. Intermoor will also dedicate 20,000 square meters at its Brazil — Açu Port facility for temporary storage and management of Petrobras materials undergoing maintenance. The contract strengthens Intermoor's position across the full mooring lifecycle, including permanent mooring installation, and supports asset integrity and operational readiness for Petrobras' offshore portfolio.
