On August 5, 2026, Avnet and Weston Robot announced a collaboration to accelerate the adoption of Physical AI in industrial environments through an AI-powered inspection platform. The platform combines edge AI, intelligent perception, and autonomous navigation, powered by AMD Ryzen AI Embedded processors, delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. It performs continuous monitoring, object and anomaly detection, PPE compliance monitoring, intrusion detection, and thermal/visual inspections.
