Kiyeng allegedly misrepresented the college as affiliated with Moi University, inducing a victim to enroll in a Diploma in Business Management. The victim received a diploma he believed genuine, but it was found to be a forgery during verification, leading to his dismissal from employment. The case file was forwarded to the Republic of Ireland — Director of Public Prosecutions (Ireland) (ODPP), which approved charges including making a false document under the Penal Code.
