Multiverse Computing Qualcomm AI Collaboration

Multiverse Computing announced a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies to bring highly efficient AI models to data centers worldwide. Multiverse Computing's AI models will be specialized for Qualcomm Dragonfly AI200 and AI250 accelerators, combining Qualcomm's AI acceleration hardware with Multiverse Computing's model compression and optimization technology. The goal is to enable data center operators to run large-scale AI workloads with higher performance and lower power consumption. Demonstrations at Mobile World Congress in March 2026 showed significant efficiency gains: a compressed open-source large language model on a Qualcomm Cloud AI100 Ultra accelerator delivered up to 93% faster response times, 44% higher throughput, 45% lower memory usage, and 21% lower power consumption without loss of accuracy. A second demonstration of an on-premises RAG chatbot for financial documents ran up to 35% faster with 54% higher throughput, 45% lower memory usage, and 14% lower power consumption. The collaboration reflects a broader industry shift toward efficiency-first AI infrastructure. Multiverse Computing serves over 100 global customers including Iberdrola, Bosch (company), and the Royal Bank of Canada.
