Mitti Labs, a deep-tech company focused on water and climate resilience in rice farming, announced a $9.5 million Series A funding round on August 5, 2026. The round was led by Saudi Aramco — Aramco Ventures, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Godrej Industries Group, Cisco Foundation, Francis Family Fund, and Volta Circle. The company plans to use the funds to expand its operations in India and launch greenfield projects in the Philippines and Indonesia, as well as scale its GeoAI platform, which uses satellite data and AI to provide field-level insights for optimizing irrigation and reducing water use and methane emissions in rice cultivation. Mitti Labs has already saved 500 billion liters of water and aims to support 150 million smallholder farmers. The company has grown to 150 employees and has raised a total of $12.5 million to date.
