Amdocs announced that Cielo, one of Brazil's largest payment services providers, has selected Amdocs Remote eSIM Manager to modernize its nationwide payment terminal connectivity platform. Cielo will transition from traditional SIM-based connectivity to an intelligent, software-defined connectivity model across its fleet of payment terminals in Brazil. The solution, part of Amdocs' eSIM Cloud Platform, enables secure remote provisioning, lifecycle management, dynamic switching between mobile network operators, real-time network quality monitoring, and intelligent connectivity orchestration. This partnership aims to improve transaction reliability, simplify operations, and support the growth of Brazil's digital payments ecosystem. Executives from both companies, Carlos Alves (CTO of Cielo) and Anthony Goonetilleke (Group President of Technology at Amdocs), expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration.
