Access Holdings Plc published its 2025 Sustainability Report on the Nigerian Exchange Limited, detailing progress in sustainable finance, emissions reduction, and financial inclusion. The group expanded its green asset portfolio to N92.14 billion, a 28.47% reduction in operational greenhouse gas emissions against its 2022 baseline, and extended access to finance to about 2.53 million low-income individuals. It deployed N72.3 billion under its Sustainable Finance Framework, grew its cumulative sustainability-focused loan book to US$1.269 billion, and mobilised US$185.38 million in concessional funding from development finance institutions. The report also highlighted gender-lens lending of N67.4 billion to women-owned businesses, onboarding of 78,438 MSMEs, and processing of 2.8 billion transactions. Access Holdings reported zero material sustainability-related regulatory penalties and zero cybersecurity breaches for the second consecutive year. The report was prepared using IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, with GRI and SASB standards as complementary references, and selected disclosures were assured by CSR-in-Action Consulting Limited. Group CEO Innocent Ike emphasized that sustainability is central to value creation and risk management. Looking ahead, the group aims to grow its green asset portfolio towards N475 billion and adopt the PCAF methodology for financed emissions reporting.
