On August 6, 2026, the first coal rake from Singareni Collieries Company's Naini Coal Mine in India — Odisha arrived at the Singareni Thermal Power Plant in Jaipur, Mancherial district, India — Telangana. The rake carried approximately 4,000 tonnes of G-10 grade coal in 59 wagons over 1,131 km, marking the first time coal from an SCCL-owned mine outside India — Telangana was transported to the state. The Naini block, allotted to SCCL by the India — Ministry of Coal in 2015, had been stalled for nearly nine years due to statutory clearances.
