MiNK agenT-797 Phase 2 pneumonia data

MiNK Therapeutics presented initial observations from its ongoing Phase 2 trial (C-1300-02) of Agent 797, an off-the-shelf allogeneic iNKT cell therapy, in patients with severe hypoxemic pneumonia, at the 2026 Military Health System Research Symposium. The first treated patients were alive and afebrile at Day 28, with improved oxygenation, infection control, and removal from ventilator and vasopressor support. Blood and lung fluid analyses showed reduced inflammatory markers and biological changes associated with immune recovery and tissue repair. No major serious adverse events were attributed to the therapy. The trial is being conducted in Lviv, Ukraine, with U.S. sites opening, and has authorization from the Malaysia — Ministry of Health (Malaysia). Additional data are expected in early 2027.
