Pickering Interfaces launches 60-191 LXI switching family

Pickering Interfaces introduced the 60-191 LXI high-current and sense switching family, its highest-current switching products to date. The family can switch signals up to 80 A and 300 V, and is designed to simplify distribution, sequencing, and management of multiple high-current power supplies in automated test systems. Available in four standard configurations, it combines up to twenty 40 A and four 80 A hermetically sealed SPST-NO contactors with 1 A SPST relays for sense lines, all in a 4U enclosure. The units feature a sequencing service that stores up to 5,000 predefined switching sequences, reducing host transactions and latency. They are controlled via an LXI 1.5-compliant Ethernet interface with support for Windows, Linux, and common development environments. Typical applications include EV battery testing, fuel-cell research, solar inverter testing, and aerospace development. All configurations include a three-year warranty and long-term product support.
