The announcement provides transparency into BitFuFu's operations, showing a temporary decline in hashrate and Bitcoin holdings due to strategic prepayments for future capacity. The expected recovery to 20 EH/s by mid-August may be viewed positively by investors, but the overall impact on the broader cryptocurrency market is limited.
BitFuFu Inc., a Bitcoin miner and mining services provider listed on NASDAQ under FUFU, announced its unaudited production and operational metrics for July 2026. The company reported Bitcoin holdings of 1,314 BTC, down from 1,671 BTC in June, primarily due to advance payments for future hashrate capacity scheduled to come online in August 2026 and extend for 330 days. Bitcoin production in July totaled 112 BTC, including 72 BTC from self-mining and 40 BTC from cloud mining, compared to 125 BTC in June. Total hashrate under management was 14.2 EH/s, down from 15.3 EH/s, with self-owned hashrate at 3.6 EH/s and third-party hashrate at 10.6 EH/s. Average fleet efficiency was 18.0 J/TH, and total power capacity was 255 MW. CEO Leo Lu stated that the company expects to restore total managed hashrate to approximately 20 EH/s by mid-August, combining capacity secured in June and July. The company emphasized its continued conviction in Bitcoin's long-term fundamentals and its focus on operational excellence and efficient capital deployment.
