The other three individuals are executives at companies producing military communications systems and developing software for drones and space-based military technologies. The measures include asset freezes and travel bans, prohibiting EU citizens and companies from providing funds or economic resources to the designated individuals. This is part of the EU's ongoing sanctions regime against Russia, which has included multiple packages targeting various sectors and individuals. Kallas stated that the EU must continue increasing pressure on Russia until it ends its war against Ukraine.
