The partnership is a modest positive for atNorth, reinforcing its sustainability credentials and potentially attracting ESG-focused clients. It has limited direct market impact but may slightly benefit Selected Group's reputation in sustainable infrastructure.
atNorth, a Nordic data center provider, announced a heat reuse partnership with Selected Group, a Nordic sustainable infrastructure platform. Under the agreement, surplus heat from atNorth's DEN02 data center campus in Ølgod, Denmark will power Selected Group's large-scale greenhouse development. The project aims to support year-round local food production, reduce reliance on imported produce, and lower carbon emissions compared to traditional fossil-heated greenhouses. The first phase is expected to be completed in Q3 2028. This partnership follows atNorth's similar heat reuse collaborations with Vestforbrænding, Kesko, and Stockholm Exergi.
