ePropelled, a U.S. manufacturer of electric propulsion systems for uncrewed aerial vehicles, announced a major expansion of its manufacturing operations in Laconia, United States — Keene, New Hampshire. The expansion increases its production footprint from 20,000 to 80,000 square feet, quadrupling production capacity. The project is supported by $60 million in funding from the United States — United States Department of War's Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment program, aimed at strengthening domestic manufacturing of critical drone components. The expanded facility will feature automated production lines, precision motor manufacturing, controller assembly, and testing capabilities. ePropelled plans to increase production of motors, electronic speed controllers, and complete propulsion systems, and to create skilled manufacturing and engineering jobs in United States — Keene, New Hampshire. The company also has a development agreement with USA Rare Earth to establish a domestic supply of sintered neodymium magnets for its motors. CEO Nick Grewal emphasized the importance of domestic manufacturing and dual-use technology for both government and commercial applications.
