The opening of the Daxi center signals Compal's aggressive expansion in the high-growth AI server market, which is likely to boost its revenue and competitive position. The investment and capacity expansion may positively influence investor sentiment toward Compal and the broader AI hardware supply chain.
Compal Electronics held the opening ceremony for its Daxi AI Server Manufacturing Center in Taoyuan, Taiwan, on August 11, 2026. The facility, representing a total investment of NT$4.03 billion, will focus on producing AI server systems (L10) and rack-level solutions (L11), incorporating proprietary liquid-cooling technology. It is expected to begin contributing revenue in the fourth quarter of 2026 and will double Compal's AI server system production capacity while adding new rack manufacturing capabilities. The center complements Compal's existing production sites in Taiwan, Vietnam, and the United States, and is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its position in the global AI supply chain. Chairman Ray Chen highlighted the expansion of the customer base into the NeoCloud segment and expressed confidence in the growth momentum for 2027, including the planned ramp-up of the Texas facility.
