The expanded collaboration strengthens WSP Global's position in AI-ready data distribution, potentially increasing demand for its data services and supporting its stock price. For Microsoft, it enhances the value proposition of Microsoft 365 Copilot for financial and energy sector clients, potentially driving adoption and revenue growth.
On August 12, 2026, WSP Global announced an expanded collaboration with Microsoft to integrate its AI-ready data, insights, and analytics into Microsoft 365 Copilot workflows and agentic experiences. The integration, enabled by WSP Global's AI Data Portal's Deterministic Retrieval solution (Kensho LLM-ready API), allows Microsoft 365 Copilot to access WSP Global content with accurate, cited, and verifiable results. Customers can use WSP Global intelligence for company research, financial analysis, transcript intelligence, peer benchmarking, and competitive analysis directly within Microsoft 365, including a Copilot in Excel connector and a plugin for Copilot Cowork. This builds on an existing integration of WSP Global Energy AI Ready Data. The collaboration reflects WSP Global's evolution of its Market Intelligence operating model and the role of its Kensho Data Platforms vertical in delivering AI-native user experiences, including Capital IQ Pro.
