The investment is expected to strengthen Kuehne+Nagel's logistics capabilities in Cambodia and the region, potentially improving its competitive position and supporting revenue growth. It also signals confidence in Cambodia's trade infrastructure and may benefit local logistics and consumer goods industries.

Logistics Warehousing Consumer goods

Kuehne+Nagel has invested in a new Container Freight Station (CFS) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The facility, scheduled for completion in June 2027, will provide more than 20,000 square meters of warehouse space, more than tripling the company's CFS capacity in Cambodia. Strategically located near key transport gateways including Phnom Penh Autonomous Port, Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, Phnom Penh International Airport, and cross-border road links to Thailand and Vietnam, the CFS aims to support growing trade volumes and enhance regional logistics operations. The facility will feature a raised-floor warehouse with loading doors and dock levellers, a floor loading capacity of five tonnes per square meter, and is expected to be certified to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards. Sustainability features include solar panels, skylight roofing, LED lighting, battery-operated forklifts, water infiltration systems, and rainwater management infrastructure. The investment reflects Kuehne+Nagel's focus on strengthening logistics infrastructure in high-growth markets and supporting regional and international trade expansion.
