DRA Adopts Tamil Nadu Presence-Less Registration

DRA, a Chennai-based residential developer, became the first developer from CREDAI Tamil Nadu to adopt the state's presence-less property registration framework, STAR 2.0. The company established the required infrastructure at its head office and commenced presence-less registration and e-sale deed services for customers starting February 18, 2026. This initiative, aligned with the Tamil Nadu — Government of Tamil Nadu's digital transformation agenda, allows homebuyers to complete registrations remotely, eliminating the need to visit United Kingdom — Company registers and offering flexibility to register on weekends, holidays, and auspicious days. DRA has also engaged with the Pakistan — National Database and Registration Authority office and Tata Consultancy Services to streamline the process. The move enhances transparency, reduces physical dependencies, and improves the overall homebuying experience.
