The launch may attract active crypto traders to KoinBX, potentially increasing trading volumes and market share in the Indian crypto market. However, the zero-fee model could pressure revenue from trading fees, though subscription fees may offset this.
KoinBX, an Indian-focused cryptocurrency exchange, is launching futures trading on August 15, 2026. The launch introduces a subscription-based Futures Pass model that offers zero trading fees for eligible trades within a monthly allowance. Two pass tiers are available: Gold with a ₹5 lakh fee-free allowance for ₹99 + GST per month, and Platinum with a ₹25 lakh allowance for ₹499 + GST per month. The platform will support leveraged trading, long and short positions, real-time data, advanced charts, and risk management tools. This move expands KoinBX's product ecosystem and aims to differentiate it by reducing fee friction for active traders.
