BSNL's rural expansion strengthens its competitive position in India's telecom market, potentially increasing its subscriber base and data revenue in underserved areas. The move may pressure private operators to enhance rural coverage, but BSNL's state ownership and focus on social connectivity limit direct stock market impact.
