Democrats approve 2028 primary calendar

The United States — Democratic National Committee approved a new 2028 presidential primary calendar at its meeting in Austin, Texas. The calendar makes United States — North Carolina the leadoff state with a primary on January 22, 2028, followed by United States — Nevada on February 1, and then United States — Keene, New Hampshire, Mexico, United States — Michigan, and United States — West Virginia throughout February.
