On August 16, 2026, security forces in Pakistan conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Lajay area of Kharan district, Pakistan — Balochistan, under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-3. According to security sources, seven terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij, the state-designated term for Pakistani Taliban, were killed and several others wounded. The operation followed intelligence reports of terrorist presence. Security forces recovered modern weapons, ammunition, military equipment, two vehicles, and a motorcycle, and destroyed the hideouts.
