India and Kenya have deepened their bilateral ties through a series of high-level diplomatic and parliamentary exchanges. Indian High Commissioner to Kenya Adarsh Swaika met Kenyan Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi in Nairobi to review recent developments and discuss proposals for strengthening the partnership. This followed a visit by Kenyan Speaker Moses Wetang ula to India, where he met India — Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan. The talks covered cooperation in technology, AI, education, healthcare, infrastructure, maritime connectivity, the Blue Economy, and digital development. Kenya reiterated its support for India's permanent membership in a reformed International — United Nations Security Council. Both sides emphasized the importance of parliamentary friendship groups and institutional cooperation.
