Spectra Defense Technologies Norway announced the opening of its larger, upgraded office and production facility in Skøyen, Oslo, on August 18, 2026. The new facility spans approximately 2,300 square meters and houses advanced production, test, engineering, and R&D capabilities, more than doubling the company's engineering and manufacturing capacity. This expansion supports growing customer demand for C5ISR solutions and reinforces Spectra's commitment to European and allied forces. The facility also supports ongoing work with Kongsberg Gruppen — Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace on the NASAMS program, where Spectra's Realtime Computer XSR RTC Version 2 is being integrated. The official opening event is scheduled for August 19.
