The launch of the CMF Buds Neo is expected to strengthen CMF's presence in the budget TWS earbuds segment in India, potentially increasing competition with other budget audio brands. For Wingtech, this product could help expand its ecosystem and drive revenue growth, though the impact is likely modest given the niche market segment.
Wingtech, the sub-brand of Wingtech, has announced the launch of its new truly wireless earbuds, the CMF Buds Neo, in India on August 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Positioned as the most accessible entry point into the CMF ecosystem, the Buds Neo will sit below the existing CMF Buds 2 series. The company has teased the design, showing color options including white with orange accents, black with blue, and an all-black variant. The charging case features a circular element that may serve as a control dial, similar to the Smart Dial on the CMF Buds Pro 2. Specifications and pricing have not been revealed yet. The earbuds have received certifications in India (BIS) and Indonesia (SDPPI), with Optiemus Electronics Limited listed as the manufacturer for the Indian certification, indicating possible local manufacturing. The launch comes as CMF has reduced its product lineup for 2026, with co-founder Akis Evangelidis citing rising memory costs for not launching a new phone this year.
